Our Story

We believe in the American military community, and we’re committed to helping transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses find careers they love. Hirepurpose is a Grid North Group Company, a collection of the leading brands for military-related content, advertising, and employment solutions.

Incorporating three brands — Hirepurpose , Task & Purpose , and Military Spouse Festivals— Grid North Group offers unique solutions to the challenges faced by service members, spouses, and military family members and the companies that want to reach this powerful community.

Hirepurpose, the first of Grid North's portfolio companies, was launched in 2014, by Zach Iscol, a combat decorated Marine Officer, who helped build and operate the first Recruiting, Screening, Assessment, and Selection pipeline for the Marine Corps' elite special operations units, and Steve Amsden, an industry veteran with over two decades of talent acquisition experience. Hirepurpose quickly grew to serve over 50,000 transitioning service members and veterans and to support over 100 Fortune 1000 and small and medium sized businesses.

With a deep committement to client success, innovation, and doing well by doing good, our team firmly believes that hiring military experienced talent is not charity, it is one of the best things you can do for your business.

Whether you are a Fortune 1000 company or a small business, we offer solutions to help you build meaningful connections to our community. And we look forward to working with you!
