In my role as a sales representative, I am responsible for product education and sales with current and prospective customers. I have found similarities between the military and the healthcare industry. Both are highly regulated and have Standard Operating Procedures that need to be followed. And both require the ability to adapt and to identify appropriate solutions to accomplish the objective. In Special Forces it was about successfully completing our mission and at Baxter I’m focused on finding solutions to meet the needs of our customers who rely upon Baxter’s products to deliver the care patients require.
