About
Brian

As the Chief Credit Officer for the Texas Market, I primarily focus on Middle Market and Energy Lending, managing the Texas division loan portfolio of more than $12 billion.

I received a BBA in Finance and Distinguished Military Graduate designation from Texas Christian University while training to become a Military Officer. After graduating from TCU and receiving my commission as an Army Officer, Brian was assigned to the 2nd Armored Calvary Regiment in Germany as an Artillery Officer and later deployed to Iraq during the Gulf War. I left the military to begin a career in finance and started my civilian career as a Credit Analyst with Comerica Bank. I then spent six years as a Middle Market Lending Officer, which during the time I attended night school, graduating with honors from the University of Dallas with an MBA in Industrial Management.

Soon after, I was asked to start a new division of Comerica Bank to focus solely on heavy equipment companies and was then promoted to Senior Vice President and began to build a national line of business. In 2010, I was promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer – Texas Market.
