I joined Dell in November 2001 as a Project Manager supporting the State and Local Government sales vertical in the Public segment. Six months later, I was managing. While at Dell, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute in several roles and across multiple organizations. My journey has allowed me to work in Sales Operations, Sales Support Operations, Inside Relationship Sales, Retail Demand Planning, Mobility Demand Planning and Sales Support, Business Development, and Global Operations Program Management. The military prepared me to adjust quickly to an ever-changing environment like the one that exists within the technology industry. My past experiences afforded me the opportunity to learn new skills and processes on-the-fly in order to achieve certain goals. That happens within the Dell culture as well. Those that can adjust and navigate through uncertainties and ambiguity find success and with that success, opportunities to increase their scope and career trajectory.
