I joined State Street almost 3 years ago, and as a Veteran, have always felt welcomed, respected and appreciated for my service to our country. Our leadership recognizes the values and attributes that Veterans bring to the table - this is evident in their commitment to hiring, retaining and developing Veteran talent. We have an active and growing Veteran employee support group which supports the transition of Veterans into State Street, and whether your first job outside the military or a new career opportunity, the group provides a forum for networking and socializing within State Street and engages with the local community. In the past year, we've expanded our group outside Boston and formed chapters in Kansas City, New York and London, which is a testament to the overwhelming support of our Veteran community here at State Street. I would highly encourage Veterans interested in a financial services career to consider State Street - the goal of both the Veteran network and State Street leadership is to be recognized as a Veteran employer of choice. That says it all.
