3rd Shift Maintenance Technician
Adecco Direct Hire is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client in the Duncan, South Carolina area for the position of 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate for this role will have an Associate's Degree, at least a year of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing setting, or a minimum of two years technical training. Qualified candidates will have experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production equipment to maintain a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities: Properly analyze equipment/ machine malfunctions, make repairs per the safety code and regulations Perform preventative maintenance on machines to maintain safety and increase up time Review spare parts needs and maintain stock necessary for 24 hour plant operation Train Machine/Production Operators on routing troubleshooting Assist team as required for process improvements and changes Use mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics to troubleshoot and improve machines/equipment Maintain the ability to operate machines and assembly stations in the case of an absense of a machine or production operator Maintain programs and backups for PLC at all stations Be able to make changes to appropriate functions of PLCs Essential Experience: Associates Degree and one year of work experience or minimum of 2 years related technical training Previous Machine Set up experience Regularly lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move up to 50 pounds Maintain 24-hour call in availability to meet customer production requirements Assist Facilities Technician when needed Preferred Experience: Fork Lift Certification Scissor Lift Certification Welding Experience Lathe and Milling Machine Experience Ability to use a PLC and understand ladder logic Qualified candidates are asked to send a Microsoft Word version of their resume to Bob Kalbaugh at firstname.lastname@example.org for immediate consideration.
