The PlanSmart (financial education) Account Executive will be a member of the team supporting the PlanSmart strategy for a geographic area.  This position will focus on new customer sales, and working with the Group Benefits Sales Organization, and approved financial advisors. The Account Executive will ensure clients continue involvement with PlanSmart and will develop strong relationships with existing clients, as well as Group Benefits.     

 

  • Selling PlanSmart financial education to new and existing customers in assigned territory
  • Own relationship with existing customer in assigned territory to increase financial education workshops
  • Own relationship with GB Regional Directors and Account Executives  in territory
  • Work within team to support geographic sales strategy
  • Work with Coordinator to insure implementation of new customers
  • Responsible for continuing workshops and up-selling all PlanSmart services
  • Partner with Managing Directors, Managing Partners, and Market Leaders to share best practices and drive  growth

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent focusing on marketing experience
  • 3 years of experience working in the corporate environment with key decision makers
  • If not licensed, will be expected to obtain the FINRA Series 6, 63, and State Life and Health license within 1 year of employment.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to identify  process and system improvements
  • Ability to work within a sales team environment
  • Handle multiple assignments simultaneously when meeting deadlines and under pressure
  • Meeting/seminar planning 
  • Ability to maintain a strong pipeline and account activity with partners
