Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assume the role of Enterprise Account Manager (EAM) . EAM will be responsible for increasing Schneider Electric’s revenue in its C&SP – Cloud and Service Provider market space. EAM reports to Regional Director and is member of a geographically based sales and sales support team of 12-15 members.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years direct experience within the Colo/Hosting/Cloud industry and demonstrate deep knowledge of how the verticals technology purchasing, financial modeling, site location and facility deployment decision making processes are made.
  • Candidate must have a strong background in the consultative sales process with an excellent track record of calling on and influencing the CEO, CTO, COO, CIO and Sr. Management Suite.
  • Base understanding of the critical facilities infrastructure (UPS, Mechanical and Electrical systems etc) are designed, sold and deployed are a plus.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Responsible for $5 to $10 million in ITD revenue.
  • Will also be responsible for Buildings and Power revenue as well.
  • Strong cold calling, prospecting, presentation, communication and writing skills.
  • Strong understanding of business & financial terms such as Capex, Opex, ROI, TCO, ROA, etc
  • Ability to extract key information from various company’s financial reports such as annual reports, income statements, etc.
  • Professional attitude - strong self-starter.
  • Willingness to professionally challenge the status quo within assigned accounts and Schneider Electric.
  • Build, maintain and execute on strategic account plans.
  • Attend appropriate industry conferences
  • Ability to work in a complex sales environment with multiple channels and existing alliances.
  • Ability to identify, understand, and provide a total value proposition/complete solution to the customers’ business needs.
  • Ability to guide a project from beginning to end, including prioritizing, planning, resolving issues, and displaying a persistent drive for results.
  • Ability to identify issues/risks, analyze and understand underlying causes, and devise appropriate action plans


  • Ability to understand customer requirements and position their needs in the Schneider value chain & competitive environment (market & competitors), in order to best promote Schneider Electric nationally.
  • Ability to know, describe and use Schneider’s offer in terms of characteristics, features, advantages and general applications, to position it against competitive offers to meet customer requirements.

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecasting
  • Consistent engagement with technical support and proposal creation team members.
  • Consistent engagement and communication with the Global Strategic Account team.
  • Provide consistent technical and business based feedback to further enhance Schneider offering.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years direct sales experience with proven track record of achieving assigned sales quota.
  • Computer: Microsoft Office, SalesForce
  • Ability to adopt internal Schneider IT based systems

Other Information
  • Compensation: Salary plus quarterly bonus. Salary based on experience level. Bonus earned quarterly based on achievement of established quota and KPIs.
  • Travel: Up to 50% within established regional territory. Outside region and potential overseas travel may be required based on assigned account base
