You'll work with a team in Arkansas and must be in proximity to the Little Rock, Arkansas and surrounding territory.

Who You Are:
A successful Account Manager for the State of Arkansas will have the following background:

-5+ years sales experience in the technology/IT industry; knowledge of Cisco solutions or that of a competitor is a plus.

-Public Sector experience preferred with in-depth knowledge of funding application success with customers through eRate, bonds, i3, Stimulus, green programs, ITRP, or other funding resources preferred.

-Demonstrated knowledge of a process for successfully managing a sales territory including pipeline development, partner engagement, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management as well as strong skills in prospecting, replacing a competitive incumbent, and protecting the installed base.

-Ability to deliver business value to the account and build on customer relationships. In addition to driving strong customer relationships, you will need to work closely with and leverage internal Cisco resources, key reseller partners as well as ecosystem partners to compliment Cisco's offerings in the market.
-You must be capable of selling business value at an executive level and across customer lines of business, ROI/TCO at a financial level and technical benefits at an IT level.

-BS degree or equivalent preferred.
