Department Overview The Accountant IV performs a variety of reporting and accounting functions for the Company and its subsidiaries, and has the ability to apply comprehensive technical accounting knowledge to perform research accounting functions. The Accountant IV acts as a liaison with external auditors for the issuance of audited financial statements for the company and/or certain subsidiaries. This role also reviews monthly results with the ability to recognize accounting issues and provide accounting support to business partners. Job Description This position will be responsible for the supervision of the accounting and reporting of our legal subsidiaries including our REITS.

• Oversee and/or contribute to all processes for the accounting and reporting for these entities.

• Understand eliminations and consolidation accounting

• Understand REIT tax qualifications

• Understand capital structure and unique accounting for each subsidiary

• Work effectively with tax peers for these entities

• Ensure effective on-going communications between internal and/external parties

• Act as the technical resource for REIT accounting

• Responsible for debt compliance calculations

• Responsible for financial ratios calculations

• Work closely with legal representatives for new entities

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards

• Coordinate subsidiary audits

• Maintain and/or enhance internal controls at a level commensurate with risk

• Review monthly financial statements for the related entities

• Responsible for IFRS 10 and 12 reporting for US segment

• Provide advice, opinions and recommendations with respect to finance matters

•Ensures client activities are in compliance with Company policies as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulations, including often complex issues

•Reviews monthly results and provides accounting insight should questions arise

•Recognizes, identifies and investigates accounting issues both in assigned business lines and in other areas. Works with other experts in different specialty areas as needed.

•Provides ongoing, proactive, specialized accounting advice and counsel to assigned lines of business to ensure clients are operating efficiently under applicable accounting rules and regulations

•Recognizes, identifies and investigates accounting issues that need attention both in assigned business lines and in other areas, researches with help of other experts in different specialty areas as needed, offers accounting opinions based on research and knowledge and resolves problems Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting/Finance or work experience equivalent to Bachelor's degree required

•CPA preferred
