Accounting Clerk A Holland company is seeking to fill their Accounting Clerk role. This up and coming manufacturing company is looking for a team oriented Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will prepare input and control vendor invoices and hourly labor transactions daily. As the Accounting Clerk you will also summarize and reconcile each area weekly. Accounting Clerk's Responsibilities - Standard accounting and administration support: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects - Order documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes - Transmit financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers, manually or by electronic equipment - Settle discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required - Aid Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing - Correct transaction documents, which may require revision of other documents or entries as well as the original; may initiate other actions - Compose statements and reports that require utilization of a wide collection of sources - Assist in control of budgets by monitoring budgets and originating or verifying adjustments and transfers - Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance
