Accountemps is searching for an organized, highly motivated Accounting Manager for our creative client in the Manufacturing Industry! The ideal Accounting Manager will have at least five years of Accounting leadership experience, and a firm grasp on minute and overarching accounting principles. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for all maintenance of the General Ledger, and will have a firm grasp on all reconciliations and third party vendor fulfillment. Responsibilities: • Maintain accuracy of general ledger • Research and Account Analysis • Monthly financial statement preparation and reporting • Bank Reconciliations • Monitor credit card activity in merchant accounts • Work with 3rd party fulfillment center to ensure accuracy of sales and inventory activity • Assist tax accountants with yearend financials • Supervise and oversee accounts payable • Oversee sales tax reporting • Develop accounting policies and procedures • Special projects • Payroll, onboarding, benefits management, insurance renewals, maintaining HR policies and procedure manual, worker compensation audits Qualifications: • 5-10 years of accounting experience • 3 years Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager experience • Experience with Peachtree/Sage highly preferred • Knowledge of Dynamic AX a plus, but not required • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and work independently • High degree of computer literacy • Excellent written and oral communication skills If you are interested in this position, please apply online and/or email your resume to today!
