Manages the monthly accounting, financial reporting and analysis process. Ensure monthly financial package is completed on a timely basis.
Review corporate results against budgets and analyze variances and provide relevant and timely written reports on same.
Prepare accurate financial reports on timely basis and in line with the Bank's accounting policies and procedures, GAAP/IFRS, and pertinent regulations.
Contribute to an informed management by furnishing, interpreting, and analyzing financial information.
Trace each G/L account to its sub-ledger, review the accuracy of all sub-ledger accounts, and collect sub-ledgers figures from each responsible department on time basis.
Manage allocation of workload and ensure tasks are completed in a timely/accurate manner.
Responsible for planning and coordinating ledger maintenance, financial report preparation (and support thereof) and review and maintenance of internal controls.
Complete annual Financial Statement Audit and Bank Audit by processing requests for documentation and answer questions in a timely manner.
Assist Accounting Manager in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports required by the Bank.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA preferred.
10+ years of experience in Accounting Operations.
3+ years of management experience leading an accounting department, preferably in commercial banking.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong team oriented leadership skills.
