Accountemps has several opportunities for short term temporary-to-fulltime Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerks in the Portland area! Matching and batching code, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, and resolving A/P issues are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. If you are a detail-oriented with a positive attitude and strong communication skills, then this role is for you. Accounts Payable responsibilities - Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, photocopying, and filing them - Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling - Assist with internal and external audits as needed - Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring Company policies are followed - Execute additional tasks as needed - Handle administrative and clerical tasks for the AP/Finance Department - Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs Accounts Payable Requirements - 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred - Command of account reconciliation - Solid understanding of full-cycle accounts payable - Great attention to detail - Expert Microsoft Excel skills required - Customer service and interpersonal skills Send your resume to for immediate consideration!
