An Accounts Payable Administrator job in Gresham, Oregon is available courtesy of Adecco. You will be responsible for transaction support including invoice entry and control of the vendor master data. This is a short-term contract position for 4-6 months and the salary pays up to $21.00 depending on related work experience.
Job responsibilities include:
Accurate and efficient invoice processing in accordance with policies and procedures manual.
Reviews and validates supplier set up request forms validating accuracy of information and appropriate approvals.
Adds and updates supplier details in the vendor master to reflect all changes for audit purposes.
Analyzes supplier statements and follows up with the relevant parties on rejected invoices to ensure timely resolution and payment of invoices
High school diploma and additional courses after high school, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred
Knowledge of computer applications such as Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, applicable MRP modules
Knowledge of and ability to operate routine office equipment may include multi-line phone system.
Ability to enter large amounts of data from source documents into various databases with speed and a high degree of accuracy
Ability to evaluate and prioritize a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers and participate actively in team discussions.
Ability to efficiently organize, file and retrieve hard copy and electronic information relating to the business of the work unit.
Basic understanding of accounting (debit, credits, assets, liabilities)
Basic understanding of forecasting and planning
Awareness of CLS Key Metrics (EBIAT, Material Revenue %, GP%, SG&A%, ROIC, cash cycle, DSO, aging)
