Position: Accounts Payable Associate
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15219
Duration: 3 months
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour / Adecco W2
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for any combination of the following services:
Supplier Maintenance and Administration - enter new suppliers into payment processing system, update supplier data, gather regulatory support
Expense Report Audit - Review employee expense reports, coach users on expense reports protocol, report on violations
Invoice Processing - Gather and enter data, select payment method, initiate disbursements, administer payments
Customer Service - Address cross functional and 3rd party accounts payable inquires, advise on payment transaction status, manager general inquiries
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Manages the weekly cheque run
• Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks
• Prepares vendor checks for mailing
• Distributes signed checks as required
• Answers all vendor inquiries
• Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files
• Assists in month-end close
• Performs filing and coping, opening of mail
• Daily billings
• Performs other duties as assigned, including answering phones
1 year Accounts Payable experience within a large company
Bachelors' Degree or equivalent required.
