Accountemps has an exceptional opportunity for a long term temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team at a recognized company. Serving as the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. This position requires people who have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting and its principles, hands on, and the ability to think on your feet. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in Marina Del Rey and will be a long term temporary position. Your responsibilities - Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, photocopying, and filing them - Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling - Handle administrative and clerical tasks for the AP/Finance Department - Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners - Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with Company policies - Provide internal and external audit assistance as required - Execute additional tasks as needed - Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
