Accountemps has an outstanding opportunity for a long term temporary-to-fulltime Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a premier company. The Accounts Payable Clerk will process expense reports, resolve A/P issues, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, and match and batch code. As the role progresses , more responsibilities will be assigned to the Accounts Payable Clerk. Located in Pleasanton, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long term temporary-to-fulltime position. Responsibilities: - Provide support to internal business partners - Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring Company policies are followed - Carry out additional projects as required - Handle administrative and clerical tasks for the AP/Finance Department - Provide support during internal and external audits - Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling - Sort, register, photocopy, and store invoices, checks, and other documents - Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
