Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, processing expense reports, resolving A/P issues, and matching and batching code are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. An individual in this position will need a high aptitude for computer software, be mindful of details and a self motivator. Located in San Francisco, California, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long term temporary opening. Key responsibilities: - Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling - Facilitate internal and external audits as needed - Primarily assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative and clerical tasks - Ensure compliance with Company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time - Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, photocopying, and filing them - Carry out additional projects as required - Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners - Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
