Accountemps is seeking a short term temporary-to-fulltime Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an essential part of a rapidly growing team at a dynamic company. A successful Accounts Payable Clerk will match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short term temporary-to-fulltime opening. Your responsibilities - Handle administrative and clerical tasks for the AP/Finance Department - Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily - Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs - Carry out additional projects as required - Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, photocopied, and filed - Provide internal and external audit assistance as required - Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring Company policies are followed - Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
