Accountemps has an exceptional opportunity for a short term temporary-to-fulltime Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a recognized company. Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, processing expense reports, resolving A/P issues, and matching and batching code are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. If you are a collaborative team member with a positive attitude and effective communication skills, then this role is for you. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short term temporary-to-fulltime opening. Responsibilities - Provide customer service to internal business partners - Carry out additional projects as required - Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis - Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling - Sort, register, photocopy, and store invoices, checks, and other documents - Facilitate internal and external audits as needed - Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring Company policies are followed - Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative and clericals tasks
