Accountemps has an exceptional opportunity for a short term temporary-to-fulltime Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a recognized company. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. As the role progresses , more responsibilities will be assigned to the Accounts Payable Clerk. Based out of the South Plainfield, New Jersey area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short term temporary-to-fulltime opening. Responsibilities - Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis - Primary responsibility is to handle the administrative and clerical needs of the AP/Finance Department - Sort, register, photocopy, and store invoices, checks, and other documents - Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring Company policies are followed - Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling - Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners - Provide support during internal and external audits - Carry out additional projects as required
