Accountemps has an exceptional opportunity for a short term temporary-to-fulltime Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a recognized company. Processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, resolving A/P issues, and matching and batching code are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. You will be working alongside a strong staff of hard working individuals who have a team minded approach. Based out of the New York City, New York area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a temporary-to-fulltime opening. Responsibilities - Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, photocopying, and filing them - Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling - Provide support during internal and external audits - Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners - Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring Company policies are followed - Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative and clericals tasks - Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis - Carry out additional tasks as assigned If you are interested in this role please send your resume to Ximena Garcia at Ximena.Garcia@accountemps.com!
