Accountemps has an exceptional opportunity for a short term temporary-to-fulltime Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a recognized company. Matching and batching code, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, and resolving A/P issues are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. Based out of the Liberty, North Carolina area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short term temporary-to-fulltime opening. Major responsibilities - Ensure compliance with Company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time - Handle administrative and clerical tasks for the AP/Finance Department - Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs - Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, photocopying, and filing them - Execute additional tasks as needed - Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily - Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling - Help with internal and external audits as required
