Accountemps is seeking a long term temporary Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an integral part of a rapidly growing team! Matching and batching code, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, and resolving A/P issues are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. If you are a collaborative team member with a positive attitude and effective communication skills, then this role is for you! This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in Portland, Oregon area and will be a long term temporary position. Your responsibilities in this role - Provide support during internal and external audits - Carry out additional tasks as assigned - Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative and clericals tasks - Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling - Ensure compliance with Company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time - Provide support to internal business partners - Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, photocopying, and filing them
