Accountemps is seeking a short term temporary-to-fulltime Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become an essential part of a rapidly growing team at a dynamic company. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. You will be working alongside a strong staff of hard working individuals who have a team minded approach. Located in Portland, Oregon, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short term temporary-to-fulltime position. How you will make an impact - Ensure compliance with Company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time - Primarily assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative and clerical tasks - Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling - Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail - Carry out additional tasks as assigned - Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs - Sort, log, photocopy, and file invoices, checks, and other documents - Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
