Accounts Payable Clerk

A technology company located in the Portland Metro Area is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Clerk. The Accounts Payable Clerk will report directly to the Senior Accountant, and will be responsible full cycle processing of Accounts Payable, processing Credit Card Expense Reports and supporting Payroll Operations as needed. Qualifications for the Accounts Payable role in addition to 1+ year of experience will include; keen attention to detail, ability to multi-task, working knowledge of Great Plains or similar ERP system, and intermediate Excel skills. • Providing internal and external audit assistance as required • Primary responsibility is to handle the administrative and clerical needs of the AP/Finance Department • Providing customer service to internal business partners • Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; provide compliance with Company policies • Sort, log, photocopy, and file invoices, checks, and other documents • Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling • Open, sort and distribute daily department mail • Perform special projects as assigned
