In this position, the Accounts Payable Clerk will work with the Accountant to evaluate, analyze, and prioritize as directed. You will provide financial assistance to the Accounting team including submitting invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers. In addition the Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible with data entry and clerical duties as assigned. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a sought after company! Responsibilities • Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement • General accounting and administration support: help with G/L account reconciliation and Post financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers, manually or by electronic equipment • Perform special projects as assigned • Support Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance • Adjusts, reconciles, and verifies accounting-related information. • Data entry of invoices into accounting system for payment • Researches and investigates discrepancies. Support accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching filing • month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
