Accountemps has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a premier company in the Chemical Manufacturing industry. This will be a long term temporary-to-fulltime opportunity in the Galleria area. Matching and batching code, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, and resolving A/P issues are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Houston, Texas area and will be a short term temporary-to-fulltime position. For immediate consideration, please email your resume to How you will make an impact - Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative and clericals tasks - Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, photocopied, and filed - Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling - Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring Company policies are followed - Help with internal and external audits as required - Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs - Complete special projects on an as-needed basis - Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
