Accountemps has an outstanding opportunity for a short term temporary Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a premier company. The Accounts Payable Clerk will match and batch code, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Excellent communication, written and verbal are a must, as well as building relationships with vendors and other departments. Based out of the Vienna, Virginia area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short term temporary opening. Your responsibilities - Sort, register, photocopy, and store invoices, checks, and other documents - Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling - Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative and clericals tasks - Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring Company policies are followed - Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily - Provide support during internal and external audits - Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners - Complete special projects on an as-needed basis If this sounds like the position for you, please send an updated resume to
