What you get to do every day: - Review current purchase orders and vouchers for accuracy in pricing. - Process invoices and checks - Set up vouchers based on vendor invoices - Create check logs for internal distribution - Prepare open purchase order reports - Reconcile timesheets and supporting documents - Matching and batching code - Update and reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger - Provide customer service to internal business partners - Provide internal and external audit assistance - Resolve A/P issues - Verify, log, and mail checks, including expediting special handling - Handle the administrative and clerical needs of the A/P and Finance Dept. Necessary skills and qualifications: - BS degree in Accounting, Business, or similar - 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred - Proficient in MS Excel - Highly organized and detail oriented with flexibility, a sense of urgency, and the ability to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities - Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
