General Summary:
The Local Foodservice Trade Spend Assoc. Analyst will be responsible for accounting for Foodservice trade payments made to customers within PBC bottling territories for the California and Mountain Regions. All 8 Regions will be processing approx. 30,000+ payments worth $260+ million annually. The payments must be executed and accounted for as specified under PepsiCo Financial Policies. The team answers customer and sales management inquiries regarding payments. They review and record accruals in the PBC financial statements and analyses of the Foodservice financial accounts. Additionally, they assist in providing analytics and information to support the Foodservice Planning team(s) to assist in forecasting the Local Trade Spend.

Operational Process Accountabilities:
  • Process Journal Entries
  • Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Field Questions & Issues from Regions
  • Participate in Pre-Close Sales Finance Region calls
  • Prepare periodic scorecards and analytics
  • Review/Analyze LTAs & tactics for opportunity or risk
  • Ensure accruals are accurate and setups match contractual agreements
  • Approve all TPM Payments
  • National B&C TPM Management
  • Participate in GCS & KPMG Requests
  • Ad hoc & Project requests
  • Monitor SharePoint site


  • Bachelor's Degree - Accounting or Finance
  • 1-3 years of business experience
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong team player
  • Strong knowledge of processes and internal controls
  • Software Skills: Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
  • Certified Public Accountant or equivalent, a plus
  • Experience with Trade Promotion applications, a plus
  • Experience implementing internal controls in a new or significantly changing environment
