Actuarial Analyst III
Open to most locations
TheActuarial Analyst IIIwill complete very diverse and complicated projects and perform very complex actuarial studies.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Performs key actuarial functions including new product pricing, evaluation of the impact of new legislation, flexible benefit consulting, and special projects.
Designs and completes special projects related to health care reform, Medicare Part D, other regulation and product development and management.
Responsible for recommendations on pricing, marketing and product design of business units .
Requires a BS/BA degree; required to have passed at least four Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams; at least 3 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Experience with health care reform, health insurance product development/maintenance, and/or pricing health insurance are all preferred skill sets.
