OfficeTeam is seeking an Administrative Assistant for a leading Nonprofit in San Francisco, specifically experience using Raisers Edge! This Administrative Assistant will be responsible for maintaining certain administrative duties for the department, assisting in prospect research, and completing special projects as needed. While in the position, you will have the opportunity to observe and learn about grant-writing, common fundraising software, funding strategy, nonprofit budgets, and more. Major Responsibilities – •Conduct prospect research on potential funders. •Assist in the filing grant materials – Includes making copies, creating new folders, keeping file cabinet drawers in order, etc. •Enter information in online donor database (experience with Raisers Edge required) – Includes adding new contact information, new relationships, maintaining the notes section for foundations, etc. •Assist in small non-fundraising events sponsored by funders – Includes helping to create event materials such as funder awards, activity sheets, name tags, flyers, informational packets, etc., and assisting with coordinating activities and volunteers.
