A busy Pompano Beach firm is looking for an Administrative Assistant. Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant include typing and proofreading letters, memos and reports; maintaining department records and databases; filing paperwork according to departmental standards; scanning paperwork and distributing to the appropriate departments for further processing; opening and distributing departmental mail; track overnight mail; follow up on any "lost" packages; provide phone coverage for the department, routes calls to the appropriate party, takes and relays messages; answers questions concerning departmental procedures but refers complex questions to other members of the department; order supplies for the department.
