Midsized company located in the Sugarland area is looking for a Quality Coordinator/Administrative Assistant for temporary to full-time position. The primary function of the Quality Coordinator will be to assist the Global QHSE Manager and management team in supporting the QHSE programs in the Sugar Land, TX and Pittsburgh, PA facilities. Job duties include: • Assisting the QHSE Manager in insuring the efficiency effectiveness of the EH S policies. • Coordinate compliance with all applicable EH S related requirements (federal, state, local, company). • Assists with in the development/implementation of EH S related programs, policies, procedures. • Assists Management in conducting EH S related training for employees, contractors, visitors. • Assists Management in conducting EH S audits, job safety analysis, maintain detailed recordkeeping. • Assists in communicating EH S related requirements expectations to other departments personnel to ensure regulatory compliance a safe work environment. • Properly respond to day-to-day EH S related issues in a timely efficient manner. • Keep current on all applicable EH S related rules regulations. • Successfully complete all EH S related work assignments duties as assigned by the QHSE Manager. Qualifications: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Knowledge of ISO quality management system requirements, root cause analysis and corrective actions. • Working knowledge of inspection tools, sampling plans, supplier corrective action programs, and source inspection programs and a thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical drawings and schematics. • Associate's degree and 1-2 years of related manufacturing and quality HSE experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
