Jr. Administrative Assistant OfficeTeam currently is searching for a driven Jr. Administrative Assistant who is deeply passionate about growing their career in the Financial Services industry. A long-term, temporary-to-fulltime opportunity, this Jr. Administrative Assistant opportunity is located in the Metairie, Louisiana, area. Your responsibilities: -Assisting teams with daily administrative operations and maintain various office resources -Assisting with the insurance placement process for Private Client/Personal Lines Dept., such as typing I.D. cards, declaration pages, policy releases, and form letters -Quoting in company system middle market companies -Reviewing quotes and printing for Producer/Account Executive -Setting up new clients into EPIC and adding AREV activity to Account Executive/ Producer -Updating policies numbers when received by Account Executive/Producer -Preparing customer binders to be given to Account Executive/Producer -Reviewing expiration and exception reports twice a week -Preparing list on client renewals with premium comparison for client with FFU, Chubb, PURE AIG in shared folder -Completing spreadsheet comparisons -Attaching all renewal policies in Epic and updating activities on all High Net Worth clients -Processing changes for clients and following up for receipt of changes as instructed by Account Executive/ Producer -Handlling billing issues/cancellations and advising Account Executive/Producer as soon as notified -Processing payments as needed -Reviewing endorements for verification -Creating invoices for new business, renewals, and endorsements -Reviewing/sorting incoming mail for department -Requesting and returning off-site customer files -Adhering to applicable HUB International Gulf South Procedures and Operational Professional Standards -General office support, including typing, spreadsheets, database management, and file preparation What we are looking for: -At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred -High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel -Customer service experience -Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills highly desired -Ability to work independently or within a team-based environment -Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities -Multi-tasking and detail-oriented skills -Previous experience with an insurance or financial service is preferred -Appropriate state insurance licenses/ADA Specifications If you are an administrative superstar who is eager to support a dynamic and growing company and looking to thrive in this environment, then OfficeTeam wants to hear from you!
