Title: Senior Administrative Assistant


Hours: Full-time (8 to 5 p.m. with some flexibility)



Description: Administer programs and services with a focus on career awareness, workforce development, and government relations


  • Administer and assist in the development of programs and services related to career awareness, workforce development,

and government relations and other areas; help identify needs for new services
  • Coordinate activities for Manufacturing Day, school presentations, and student tours at trade shows
  • Organize events with government officials and conduct annual top issues survey
  • Compose and deliver relevant and accurate written communications
  • Communicate effectively with clarity and diplomacy with people at all levels
  • Coordinate the activities of related committees including preparing meeting agendas, minutes, meeting set up/tear down
  • Develop and document processes
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties related to the above responsibilities; assist with answering office phone, handle

routine calls, greet visitors; understand Association services, field questions, and provide information
  • Prepare mailings and information to members
  • Help prepare budget and monitor financial transactions related to programs and services
  • Enter and retrieve member information into/from Salesforce database
  • Prepare reports of activities, business transactions, and expenses
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point and Salesforce
  • Strong business acumen and professional image
  • High school diploma required; project management experience required
