Administrative Assistant For Temporary Leave of Absence

A local non-profit is in need of an Administrative Assistant to join their team for a temporary leave of absence. The ideal Administrative Assistant will have non-profit experience specifically centered around child and adolescent mental health programs. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for such duties as; financial eligibility screening for all clients, ongoing insurance status review of existing clients, the clerical management of the medical records, including creating charts, filing, and archiving. The Adminsitrative Assistant also enters data in various required databases, such as DCR and DES, monthly reports to Fiscal Department and Program Director, identify data errors and performs data clean-up on an ongoing basis. Knowledgeable of current billing system of accepted insurance companies and update as necessary. Working knowledge and experience with information systems and computer applications including spreadsheets, database systems, computer languages, page design and layout, and formatting text. Skilled in proofing and reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness. Ability to type accurately. Ability to work well under pressure. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion.
