Job Description
Workday is seeking a motivated, bright, and very organized individual for an Executive Admin / Coordinator position. This individual would perform administrative work of significant difficulty and complexity for the RVP of the West region of Workday. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Manage direction from the Regional Sales, Service VP
  • Collect and prepare information for executive staff and customer meetings
  • Prepare presentations for executives
  • Organize and handles some registrations, hotel and general travel arrangements for offsite meetings, conferences and seminars, domestic and international
  • Prepare and submit vouchers for approval by Sr. Managing Director and for Accounts Payable for processing. Reconcile any errors/discrepancies
  • Prepare spreadsheets and/or PowerPoint presentations of moderate to significant complexity
  • Communicate effectively with all locations and diverse cultures
  • Successfully manage and coordinate efforts under pressure and in response to deadlines
  • Interact comfortably and skillfully with senior level executives and assistants within and outside the company
  • Manage and run special projects provided by the sales organization. Examples could include:
    • Data gathering/analysis
    • Group outings/social events
    • Employee support activities
    • Customer activities - User Groups, Sales Events, meetings, etc.
    • Prospect Activities - meetings, dinners, sales events
    • Internal Training Coordination/Delivery
  • Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of practical business/administrative experience strongly preferred
    • Bachelors Degree preferred
    • Strong, professional presence and presentation
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture
    • Multi-tasking, project management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills
    • Detail-oriented, able to resolve problems using relevant information, sound reasoning and common sense
    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
    • Creative and able to think outside the box
    • Excellent command of MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel)
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Prefer candidates who come from a software or large company environment.
