Trading Floor Admin.Asst! Promotable.
Must have 2 years experience in a finance environment
Provides administrative assistance to Trading Desk team at the firm including complex activities including meetings, travel, itinerary, heavy telephone coverage, mail handling, processing of letters/correspondence, maintaining files, events/meeting planning, and other department activities.
Manages schedules utilizing MS Outlook (planning/arranging events, meetings, travel arrangements, conference calls, and receptions).
Organizes and prioritizing a large volume of information requests and calls including print outs of blotters and reports as required.
Aids in the production (creation, revision, editing, proofing) of departmental reports, presentations and general documents (e.g. business plans, financial statements, presentations) specific to trading desk document.
Experience & Skill-Set
Must have high level of interpersonal skill to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position demands demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy and responsiveness.
Experience and willingness to handle basic trading desk tasks
Highly motivated self-starter with can-do attitude
Proficient on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
