Administrative Coordinator

As a key member of the US Value & Access team, the Administrative Coordinator (AC) will be primarily responsible for complex administrative support activities supporting multiple Executive Directors/Directors for the Organized Customer Team (OCT). The OCT team is responsible to communicate the clinical and economic value of Amgen products to key Payers, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), to ensure coverage of Amgen products and thus support access for appropriate patients.
Key responsibilities include:
Pro-Actively Manage executive calendars with multiple priorities, identify conflicts and creatively resolve, schedule cross functional meetings and respond to meeting requests
Maintain field contact lists and assignments
Coordinate web-interface meetings, capture, transcribe and distribute meeting minutes
Coordinate domestic/international travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, process expense reports
Coordinate mailings and courier/deliveries
Provide backup support to designated AC
Update and maintain dues, memberships, subscriptions
Maintenance and retrieval of filed information and correspondence to ensure immediate access to information
Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree and 2 years of administrative experience
High school diploma / GED and 4 years of administrative experience
Preferred Qualifications
Amgen experience
2+ years in an administrative support role
Experience working in a fast-paced fluctuating environment
Flexible, take initiative and work well independently and in teams
Self-starter who can function autonomously
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience providing administrative support to remote staff
Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively establish and maintain professional relationships, partner with colleagues, and achieve required business outcomes
Demonstrate strong abilities in prioritizing, managing multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines and priorities, tracking and reporting the status of assignments and activities
Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, solutions-oriented, problem solver
Demonstrated expert knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
