Schedule: 1.0 (40 hours per week) Shift: Mixed shifts rotating weekends.

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing feedback on daily registration processes and staffing issues to the Patient Access Supervisor. Provide assistance to staff level employees as necessary to insure compliance with department policies and procedures. Assist supervisor with staffing, report reconciliation, QA process, and other duties as assigned.

This position offers potential for growth for those candidates with a Bachelor's degree.
Minimum: 3-5 years experience registering patients I a healthcare setting preferred.

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by constantly meeting and exceeding expectations. Able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties. Demonstrates proficiency in PC applications as required. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance processes. Demonstrates the ability to Registrar all patient types in all patient care areas.
