As the eBusiness Consultant for the Adobe Analytics Cloud, you will be responsible for managing the Analytics program across Dell inc. worldwide. We have one implementation collecting data across all Dell and DellEMC pages worldwide including: Consumer and Commercial, commerce and eSupport for 170 Countries and 28 languages. This gives us billions of records of data from half a billion unique annual visitors to manage and help drive business decisions. A position on our team provides outstanding visibility to a wide variety of business questions that will help you expand your expertise. We have a small team of tool subject matter experts who own a tool, and a support team to help manage tool implementations and digital analytics data integrity for Dell.com. Digital Tools at Dell include: Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Data Workbench; Tealeaf, Ensighten Tag Management, OpinionLab and iPerceptions. **Program Management** : Manage intake for large and small projects. A few examples are: + **Data Architecture** : Maintain a full map of the Adobe Analytics ecosystem (Solution Document). Adobe has improved their Core Services architecture. Data is shared across the Marketing Cloud, improving personalization, segmentation and detailed analysis. We need a source document that is both user-friendly and technical enough to enable deep dive root cause analysis. This map will include where the data comes from: definitions, how the data is collected (Saint, Vista, JavaScript), modification dates, proper usage of the data. Then, we need to know the key users who are depending on those data elements = the Data Ambassadors + **Tool or Integration Enhancements** : Evaluate requests for program changes from business stakeholders. Determine if we can meet the requirements and if so, the best tool & solution. This may include guiding site developers on data layer elements to make available for our tools. This may involve further customization to our tools: JavaScript changes, event or rule creation, or working with the vendors to implement. Once decided, your role will include testing the changes before they are pushed to production. + **Management of Dell/EMC integration** : Create the roadmap for migration of EMC data to our shared set of Tools/Platforms. Ensure that requirements from both Dell and EMC are documented and then met, hold participants to timeline and testing. **User Support** : We have 1000+ users of our tools worldwide. They range from casual users to power users. + We do not publish any reports on this team, nor do we perform detailed analysis. We are not fully tied to a weekly, monthly calendar. Rather, we must help the business with enhancements as quickly as possible, sometimes dependent on agile release schedules. + Build out and Evangelize a Data Ambassador program in which specific POCs within business units will own the requirements, requests, and issues arising from said BU. This program will allow for more efficient Adobe Program management by funneling information up from the business and dispersing information about the data/tools. + User Education: Train and teach end users via workshops, Wiki entries and other forums (such as Sharepoint). Promote transparency and self-service, or work streams through the data ambassadors. **Vendor Management** : We own the vendor relationship for these tools. A key function we provide is to diagnose issues before sending them to our vendors. The person who takes this role must be able to debug JavaScript code, use browser console tools to find origin of issues and ensure data integrity. If the root cause requires our vendors to take action, the person in this role would work with the vendor to get them resolved. --Undergraduate degree and 6 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 3-5 years relevant experience. Relevant experience = working in eCommerce, online agency, web developer or analytics. -Prior eCommerce experience and/or High‐level Digital Marketing experience required. -Intermediate to advanced knowledge of at least one of these tools: Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Data Workbench, Ensighten, Tealeaf. -Must have an understanding of the basic concepts of building web pages, HTTP, JavaScript and Content Management. -Experience with testing JavaScript changes and database analytics and query tools such as Statistica, R, SAS, SQL or scripting tools such as Python -Experience communicating ideas (hypothesis, impact projections, etc.) and project output to business audiences. Provide regular deep-dive training in one or more of our tools to enable the business to understand our data -Must have a passion for Data! Data integrity validation including integrations between our tools -Strong collaboration skills with ability to drive cross-functional teams forward and build consensus -Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth global environment.
