Position Summary:
Responsible for development and execution of automation scripts using iTKO LISA and HP LoadRunner. Configure and monitor metrics during test executions. Assist with documentation and analysis of test results. Work as part of a team testing applications that have complex web architecture and contain a broad range of technologies and back-end system, including WebSphere, AIX Unix, IBM zSeries and iSeries, DB2, and Oracle. Troubleshoot complex technical situations, resolve issues, and work independently when necessary to complete assignments. Design and implement testing processes and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) methodologies necessary to deliver scalable, maintainable, and issue-free system(s) in a timely and economic manner. Serve as an interface with software developers and end-users. Report significant performance issues and aid in driving solution to application development team. Analyze test results from a technical standpoint and isolate performance issues prior to escalating to the development team for resolution. Contribute to the continuous advancement of current Performance Engineering practice. Work closely with the development team in executing automated and manual testing strategy. Interact with performance engineers in script and scenario design and development.


Required Qualifications:
A 3 or 4 year Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related technical field and 5 years of experience in application development. Must also have 5 years of experience in each of the following: LISA/DEVTEST; LoadRunner; WebSphere; AIX UNIX; IBM zSeries and iSeries; and, DB2. Must apply by 01/20/18.
