Job Description CVS is seeking a new Manager to join the Promotion team that has been tasked with transforming the strategy, effectiveness, design and execution of promotions. This specific role is responsible for developing circular promotion plans that will ensure CVS achieve (or exceed) weekly, monthly and annual financial goals.
The position is expected to provide excellent exposure to management across CVS's business as well as ongoing professional development. This role would suit someone with a strong interest in retail, experience in promotions, robust analytics and a passion for delivering results.
The candidate selected for this position will be a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in learning. This person will also need to be a self-motivated, entrepreneurial, high-energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment. He/she must be accustomed to working on multiple tasks in parallel. This professional must demonstrate cross functional engagement, best demonstrated by the individual’s ability to gain credibility with team members and senior management.
Required Qualifications -3+ years of Analytics experience
-5+ years post Bachelors experience
Preferred Qualifications -Structured and Logical Thinking: the ability to dissect a problem into an organized approach and quickly form a hypothesis against which to run test analysis.
-Analytical Rigor: the ability to design and execute high impact quantitative analysis in a defect-free manner. Mastery of Microsoft Excel is critical to this role.
-Powerful Communication: the ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and on paper. Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint is critical to this role.
-Cross functional engagement: Highly developed relationship-building skills to impact and influence merchants and other cross functional partners of all levels
Education Bachelor's degree is required.
