Adecco Executive Recruitment is searching for, on behalf of its client in New York City, for the job of AEM Lead. You will:


Be able to demonstrate deep expertise in technical design and in a core programming language.
Be able to partition requirements into actionable, tightly scoped work items that solve for both functional and non-functional aspects.
Articulate and recommend a range of technical solutions for a given set of requirements that balance tactical and strategic objectives.
Be able to reinforce best practices and provide leadership in technical Delivery by guiding the team in software development practices.
Be able to mentor, grow, and recruit talent that enables organizational objectives.
Work with other managers across functional teams to ensure successful execution of enterprise initiatives.
Be technically strong and hands-on expert who can design, build and support product solutions for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), develop technical roadmaps for the web CMS platform and lead the migration and maintenance of the various web properties on to AEM.
Have a solid overall understanding of the system/application architecture of the AEM, its templates, widgets, components and workflows including knowledge of out of the box search capabilities and custom integration with enterprise services.


Qualifications


Should possess indepth understanding and experience with AEM Core components (Example: Sling, OSGI, JCR, Dispatcher).
Must be able to setup Maven Projects and Configuration for AEM Projects
Be well versed with CI tools like Jenkins.
Be well versed with User and Group Management in AEM.
Be well-versed with AEM workflows setup and maintenance.
Have an in-depth understanding and excellent experience with Sightly, clientlibs, components and customization.
Should be able to advocate and implement content management strategies
Should have experience with integrating to third party API's.
Should have in-depth understanding and expertise with AEM DAM, Renditions and DAM Workflows.
Strong background in integration with components of Adobe Marketing Cloud (including Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics and Campaign) and Adobe Social.
Should be familiar with Adobe Social components and social configuration.
Should be able to fine tune AEM application for optimal performance, including configuring Threads, Heap, GC Policy. FEO, JS and CSS minification and optimization. Should be familiar with application profilers.
Should have experience with AEM maintenance activities like Offline Tar Compaction, Importing and Exporting Repository backups.
Should have excellent troubleshooting and Debugging skills.
Demonstrate hands-on experience with Sightly (AEM Templating language) and CoralUI/TouchUI frameworks.
Deep understanding of various Storage Resource Providers in AEM and their key implementations.
Deep understanding of CRX 3 (JackRabbit Oak) with MicroKernel (MK) implementations like TarMK and MongoMK
Strong experience in designing third-party integrations with AEM such as SAML Authentication Handler, Dynamic Tag Management, Brightcove, Apache SolR etc.
Experience in implementing multi-site strategy using Live copy, rollout, multi-site manager,etc in AEM.
Able to recommend best practices related to performance, maintenance and stability of on-site AEM platforms.
Strong Java (OSGi, JSP, Servlets) and web development (HTML, JS, CSS, Angular, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Phone Gap, Twitter Bootstrap etc.) background with experience building cutting edge web & responsive mobile experiences.
Be a champion of customer & user experience (CX, UX) engagement and best practices.
Work as technical leads and architects and write and implement technical specifications related to the company's web initiatives.
Work with other members of the Applications Development team to implement technical specifications.
Work with functional groups both internal to (e.g., project management, network operations) and external in order to provide tightly integrated solutions between the web applications and the legacy backend systems.
Be well-versed in the technologies chosen for developing web application solutions (e.g., J2EE applications, JBOSS,Websphere App Server, Demandware, Adobe Experience Manager, Web Servicess, Solr , Ajax, EJB, Struts, MQ,Oracle, SQL Server database, MySQL,WSo2.).
Write and review application code for Java and AEM applications.
Design and build applications for scalability and redundancy.
Adhere to industry standards and company-defined guidelines and principles for software engineering.
Provide technical guidance to more junior members of the development team.
Write documentation as needed.
Continue to develop technical skills and learn new technologies as needed.
Implement (i.e., design, develop, unit test) technical solutions for web applications based on the functional requirements and technical specifications.
Adhere to project scope and timelines with both Agile and waterfall approaches.
Support and maintain online, AEM applications.
Should have experience CQ5
Should have experience of implementation of WCM, DAM and Work Flows
Should have experience in implementation and customizations of Granite UI, Sling, OSGI services
Should be able to design and support complex AEM website
Should be able to guide business users and technical teams with the AEM and content applications with best practices.
