Data Modelers for enterprise and application support - Data modelers work to understand the business and business need for information. They utilize business knowledge to translate requirements for data into data models that enable further understanding of data and the relationships in the data. In EDM data modelers play a pivotal role understanding defining Fannie Mae's data needs and optimizing data usage for the future. Physical data modelers (DBA) optimize data structures for specific technologies like Oracle and Netezza.
Big Data - Hadoop specialists work with Big Data technologies to accelerate the availability of data to the business, enabling the transformation of data into information. In Enterprise Data Management, we are building out the capability to turn large pieces of data into information, enabling the future of analytics at Fannie Mae.

Development Operations - Our DevOps team is expanding - boasting multiple capability teams, all collectively committed to ease of delivery across the development lifecycle. These capabilities include: Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery, Infrastructure as Code, Test Engineering, Application Life Cycle Management, Release Engineering, and Code & Component Quality.
Software Development Engineer in Test - We are looking to hire candidates with SDET background and invite you to share your information with us. The primary need for this skillset resides in our DevOps portfolio, which includes Testing Shared Services, the Agile Circle of Excellence, the Project Quality Office, Application Life Cycle Management, Release Management, and Development Tools. SDET roles lead application automation and testing of large scale mission critical systems, and apply expertise in programming to build and evolve test frameworks and methodologies to support quality and reliability of our systems.
