Department Overview Global Anti-Money Laundering (GAML) is responsible for Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing (AML/ATF) regulatory compliance and prudential risk management across the TD footprint. We act as proactive and trusted advisors to TD Business Lines, while supporting a consistent, adaptable and effective culture across the organization, ensuring money laundering and terrorist financing risks are appropriately identified and mitigated. We direct the design, content and enterprise-wide implementation of TD's AML Program, which also includes ensuring that everyone both understands and complies with economic sanctions and anti-bribery / anti-corruption regulations. Job Description The AML Group Manager manages the daily activities of an assigned group related to Anti-Money Laundering(AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and/or Customer Identification Program(CIP). Manages staff, providing direction, setting goals, evaluating results and ensuring that overall departmental goals are attained. Ensures that ongoing activities are performed according to established policies and procedures. Leads the development of group policiesand procedures and assists staff with complex questions and issues as necessary. The AML Group Manager for U.S. Wealth reports dually into the AVP, AML Wealth & Insurance, TD Bank Group and the EVP, BSA Officer, TD Bank N.A. Job Requirements • Manages multiple, broad, and large scale teams.

•Meets with Wealth business unit partners and Wealth business leaders to determine AML strategies and directs the compliance culture. Determines and decides policy and/or action based on internal and external industry developments for AML Programs. Works with executive team, senior business unit management/partners to develop proactive strategies, tactics, policies and programs to effectively manage regulatory/compliance issues.

•Maintains highly specialized expertise and in depth knowledge to manage AML programs for multiple, significant complex businesses,functional areas and/or global business lines.

•Provides insight, guidance, and recommendation on AML subject matter, regulatory and industry issues and acts as a specialized resource to other departments based on subject matter expertise.

•Provides explanation and/or resolution for business/Compliance management based findings.

•Manages day to day operations of the department and participates in enterprise wide or Customer focused special projects. Determines compliance policies and procedures to ensure the Wealth business unit's ongoing compliancewith applicable laws/regulators and identification of non-compliant behavior.

•Understands TD brand issues/parameters and guide others to protect the reputation and interest of TD by adhering to operating standards and processes.

•Coordinates and support activities as necessary.

•Liaises within dustry regulators(e.g. securities commissions, state/federal regulators), associations,related parties and counterparts at other financial institutions on compliance, policy and audit matters including analysis, interpretation and execution, in an effort to bring about outcomes that are beneficial to TD businesses.

•Manages relationships and work closely with management to provide guidance, expertise, counsel, policy direction and education on compliance requirements and related issues and to channel conflict among internal partners to ensure consistent compliant outcomes.

•Acts as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registered Chief AML Compliance Officer.

•Acts as the key compliance contactfor internal andexternal audits and between businesses and the regulatory authorities that govern them.

•Consults with TD business partners and work closely with support groups (e.g. Legal, Govt. Relations, Audit, etc.) in the development and execution of Compliance related communication plans and establishment of industry positions within AML.

•Encourages and fosters positive working relationships within iternal business partners and an environment of ongoing employee development andfeedback.

•Contributes to the ongoing development of the team by sharing information, knowledge, expertise and lessons learned on a regular basis.

•Communicates AML plans and related processesfor multiple/key or global business units.

•Provides reports on status of Wealth AML Program to EVP, BSA Officer, TD Bank N.A. and the AVP, AML Wealth & Insurance, TD Bank Group

•Interacts with executive management about AML issues.

•Establishes AMLframework consisting o fappropriate training programs/procedures and controls to manage their AML risk. Qualifications •Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below

•7+ Years of related experience
