Under general direction of upper management, works with the Reimbursement Policy Insights team on projects, proposals, conducting research, and analyzing data.

  1. Supports reimbursement team with direct day-to-day reimbursement project activities including research, analysis and project management
  2. Conducts extensive research, develops content for presentations, and helps with analysis and writing of a wide range of consulting projects in reimbursement and health policy arena
  3. May assist with ongoing client communications and account management for reimbursement related projects
  4. Continuously monitors, assesses and identifies strategies to improve the quality of projects, project deliverables, presentations and consulting services
  5. May recognize changes in project scope and determine appropriate manner of feedback to client in consultation with team or project leaders May develop supervisory and project management responsibility
  6. May develop supervisory and project management responsibility
  7. Participates actively in team meetings
  8. Maintains individual chargeability requirements

Requires broad experience in fields such as reimbursement, health policy, business administration, sales, marketing, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program. Normally requires at least 1-2 years directly related and progressively responsible experience within healthcare consulting or pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry with a history of successful achievement in the fields of reimbursement strategies and tactics.

  2. Proven ability to work on multiple projects and with multiple individuals simultaneously
  3. Proven ability to maintain high quality output
  4. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical/biotechnology/medical device industry and experience with issues surrounding the marketing of pharmaceutical products, including issues surrounding coding, coverage, and reimbursement of those products
  5. Strong project management and research skills
  6. Thinks and works independently and is also a team player
  7. Ability to successfully research, analyze and solve complex reimbursement issues
  8. Demonstrated success on various reimbursement consulting/research projects
  9. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;
  10. Ability to write, create and deliver presentations/documents based on research findings
  11. Ability to meet deadlines
  12. Excellent organizational skills
  13. Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs
  14. Demonstrated success within the consulting environment or pharmaceutical/biotechnology/medical device industry
  15. Broad technical knowledge of reimbursement strategies
  16. Interest and ability to "think outside the box"
  17. Strong interpersonal skills
  18. Displays flexibility and collaboration
  19. Ability to work well in a dynamic, successful consulting firm, which maintains high quality standards and demands excellence
